round #2

Ready or not, baby #2 is in progress. 9 weeks along, to be exact.

Wow! I was shocked. I mean, happy and excited, but shocked. After all my trauma, 3 weeks after delivering Avery, I thought conceiving #2 would be rough. I went through all sorts of tests and doctors (blah blah blah) and I have to admit, it had me a tad nervous (not to mention all my other problems in that area.) But, just as before, it didn't take long at all! I feel blessed for that. I have seen so many close friends suffer through the woes of not being able to get pregnant, so to have had it this easy, thus far, is a miracle in my eyes.

So far this pregnancy has been different. At least I think it has. Maybe I have just forgotten, but I swear I never got this sick with Avery. I have had a rough couple of weeks. The nausea has been enough to throw me over the edge. And my energy.... gone. Which in turn means I don't get a whole lot done throughout the course of my day. I make it to the gym every morning - and then I crash. Like, literally, I crash. My hair... not being done. My comfy sweats... are almost worn out. My house... is a mess. My husband... is getting use to cold cereal for dinner. Oh the joys.

June 24th is said to be the big day. Man, that seems like forever away!! I know it will come fast though! We are now in a mad dash to get our house built. As soon as spring is here we will start... and hope that we can get it all finished before the baby comes - which could get interesting. I am keeping my fingers crossed it will happen.
